ASOS stocks products from well over 800 brands, and also includes many of its own branded items amongst its range.
It’s no problem if you’re looking to return an item that you’ve purchased from ASOS directly. You are able to get a refund on any purchase that you’ve made within 28 days of receiving the item.
You’re also eligible to exchange an item within those same 28 days, as long as it has the same product ID as the original order.
You can also swap your item of clothing for the same item but in a different colour if you so wish, as long as the cost was the same when you placed the original order.
All replacements are typically sent through to the address for the original delivery. If you’re looking to ship this item somewhere else, then contact ASOS customer services team to arrange this.
The refund you will receive will be the price you purchased the item for – this includes items that were discounted at point of purchase or items that were in a sale.
Underwear, lingerie and swimwear can be returned as long as the original wrapping is still intact for hygienic purposes.
You must obtain proof of posting when sending a return. The return address to send to is ASOS, on Barlby Road, Selby, YO8 5BL.
You can only return orders purchased from ASOS directly. This doesn’t include any items purchased on the ASOS marketplace.
The standard method of delivery that ASOS uses is with Hermes, and it’s usually delivered within three working days of the moment you place your order. ASOS typically charge £3 for delivery, however it is often offered free of charge if the total value of your order is over £20.
When your item is dispatched, they are fully tracked, so you will be able to keep track of your order via text message and via email, to make sure you are going to be in when your item is delivered.
Once the item leaves the ASOS warehouse, the tracking numbers and notifications will begin.
You may need to sign for an item when it is delivered by the courier.
ASOS also offers a Next Day Delivery service to the UK, with the exception of a number of different postcodes. If you have placed your order before midnight on Monday-Friday, then you will receive it the next day.
Next Day Delivery costs £5.95 and it is offered free of charge if you spend over £100 on a single order. You may also need to use the discount promotional code NEXTDAY when placing your order on the checkout page.
You can also sign up for unlimited next day and precise delivery for just £9.95 a year on the ASOS website. This will guarantee you next day for your orders and save you almost £6 for every order you make.
My order hasn’t arrived!
If you are yet to receive your order, you will need to wait until the estimated date on your confirmation email. This will have been sent to you at the point you made the order online.
You won’t be able to lodge a claim or a complaint until you have passed this date. You may also need to check with your local postal service to make sure there aren’t any delays in your service.

You’ll earn five points for every pound you spend, and in the first instance you will receive double points for two days, a 15 per cent discount code on your birthday. You’ll also receive free next-day delivery on one occasion and you’ll also be able to enter exclusive competitions and offers run by the ASOS team.
Once you’ve earned a certain amount of points, you’ll reach the highest level 3, which will give you 20 per cent off on your birthday as well as 24-hour early access to sales and promotions run on the ASOS website.
For every £100 you spend on the site, you’ll receive a £5 ASOS voucher to spend on the site.
